Everyone has an angel. A guardian who watches over us. We can't know what form they'll take. One day, old man. Next day, little girl. But don't let appearances fool you, they can be a fierce as any dragon. Yet they're not here to fight our battles but to whispers from our hearts. Reminding that it's us. It's everyone of us who holds power over the world we create. You can deny angels exist. Convince ourselves they can't be real. But they show up anyway, at strange places and strange times. They can speak through any character we can imagine, they'll shout through demons if they have to. Daring us, challenging us to fight. And finally, this questions: The mystery of whose story it will be. Of who the draws the curtain. Who is it that choose our steps in the dance. Who drives us mad? Este domingo pude ver ´Constantine´, me lo pasé bien. Y es que la mitología sobre los ángeles me gusta mucho, y me resulta muy atractivo cuando se lleva al cine fantástico. He escrito unas líneas sobre mi visión de los ángeles y demonios y su lucha por nuestras almas, y como se plasma en algunas películas que me encantan. No es un secreto para los que me conocen mi poco gusto por la ortodoxia. En general no hago mucho caso a ninguna de las religiones oficiales, pero siempre me ha gustado mucho la mitología judeocristiana: especialmente el tema de los ángeles y sus hermanos caídos los demonios. En cualquier caso esta visión que expongo de esta mitología no es algo en lo que crea, en absoluto, sólo es una visión fantástica que me gusta recrear en mi imaginación. Y ver en el cine. Siempre he tenido mucha curiosidad por la idea del infierno ¿Como puede un “padre bueno” permitir que exista quién se condene a eternos tormentos?
